Pretty Lace Tank Top

I found this pretty lace tank top back in February on my trip to California.  I have waited all this time for some warm weather so I could finally wear it!

This lace tank top is a great piece for the warm Summer months ahead.  It can be dressed up or down.  I wish I could provide a shopping link for it, but the store where I got it from doesn’t sell online.  Nonetheless, I wanted to style it here so I found some similar styles with which you could get a similar look.  I tried to find ones that don’t require a second tank underneath.  I’m wearing a white tank under this top due to the large armhole.  Most of my outfit is vintage with the exception of my purple beaded bracelet.  I also added a purple pendant necklace and purple earrings to the outfit.

Being Confident

So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded.  Hebrews 10:35

Many years ago when I was going through a great hardship, I remember opening my Bible and turning to this exact verse.  I remember thinking I would never throw away my confidence in the Lord.  I believed he could bring me through any type of conflict or persecution in my life.  In that moment, I was determined to let him lead me with every step.  I would not waver, and my faith would always be in him.

Recently, I started thinking about confidence again.  This time it was in terms of my own confidence and who I am.  I starting thinking about how sometimes my confidence in who I am really wavers.  I started thinking about us women in general who may have low confidence issues.  Just as God wants us to be confident in our faith in him, I believe he wants us to have confidence in ourselves.  Especially as his daughters, we need to have confidence in our identity in him.

Each one of us has experienced ridicule from others about who we are or what we look like.  We may have been bullied.  Some of us may have been made fun of because of our Christian faith.  Don’t throw away your confidence in who you are.  God formed and shaped you to be exactly who he wants you to be.  He has given you abilities, talents, and spiritual gifts to make a difference to those around you.  Have unwavering confidence and faith in God, the promise of salvation through Christ, and in yourself as his beautiful daughter.
