Hello everyone! I have a very pretty off the shoulder dress to show you today.
I love this cute floral dress for Summer. It does have spaghetti straps that helps keep everything in place. I also like that the straps are adjustable. This Dress is available in just one size right now, so I linked a few others that are equally cute including This One.
I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday weekend. If you plan on doing any shopping this weekend, this is a good time to pick up a few items for the summer. Nordstrom is having a 40% off sale right now, and they are offering a free Clinique bonus with a $28 Clinique purchase. If you need makeup, I love Clinique’s foundations. You can read about what I use in this Post.
Loft is also having a 40% off sale on full priced item and 50% off sale items (use code: vacay). Ann Taylor is having a 40% off full priced items and 50% off sale items (use code: summer). At Macy’s, you can earn $5 in Macy’s money for every $25 spent.

Measuring Our Value
Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is – his good, pleasing and perfect will. Romans 12:2
It often seems as if the world measures a person’s worth by looks, how much money they earn, if they are famous, and what they have accomplished in a number of areas. These areas include athletics, the arts, politics, a person’s career, and social status. I often find myself focusing too much on these things and chasing after some of them to prove my significance in the world. If one succeeds in any of these areas, there is always pressure to keep up the success and stay relevant. If one fails to achieve any of these things, they can doubt their value by these worldly standards. All of which don’t lead to happiness or a fulfilled life.
The wonderful thing is God doesn’t measure our worth by our skills, fame, wealth, or professional achievement. Our reputations, accomplishments, good deeds, or social impact on this world can’t earn us a place in His kingdom. We certainly can’t buy our way into heaven or take our wealth with us. He loves all of us no matter our position or state in life. He simply asks us for faith in him and his son Jesus.
God’s plans for our success are often much different from what this world expects. I am happier and more joyful when I don’t feel the need to chase after what the world values, and instead focus on what God wants me to do. I don’t doubt who I am and my worth. I feel more fulfilled when I focus on giving to others, serving others, and building others up to help them achieve their goals.
Do you sometimes wonder whether you measure up in terms of what you are accomplishing or how much money you make? Focus on what God says is important in life. Know that you are most valuable in his eyes. You are so valuable he gave his only Son up for you as the ultimate price.
