Every year, Macy’s brings back this Karen Scott poncho sweater. So, I’m bring it out again too – it’s such a classic piece! This poncho sweater is perfect for women of all sizes since it is not overly bulky with a lot of material.
It is great for petites who don’t want to get lost in an oversized sweater. Plus, it is also works if you are not petite and worried about adding visual weight. I think the asymmetrical hemline really helps with that!
As you can see, this poncho sweater can be worn in lots of ways. You can style it with a casual top or tee of any color and jeans. You can dress it up with pants. It can even be worn over a patterned top or blouse.
This poncho comes in other neutral colors that go with everything too. I’m wearing the beige marl color but love the gull marl color too.

Karen Scott also has this cute ruffled hem poncho sweater that comes back each fall. The ruffled hem poncho comes in regular sizing and petite sizing. I’ve tried this one on in the store and loved it as well.
Plus, the ruffled poncho comes in lots of colors. I think the cherry red or merlot colors would be particularly stunning around the holidays if you are lucky enough not to need a heavy coat that time of year.
