One of summer’s hottest fashion trends is the bold bead necklace. Colorful and striking, this jewelry trend is certainly making a statement! However, should petite ladies add these bigger bold statement necklaces to their outfits? While some may find them too overwhelming for their petite frame, others may not. So, I feel that question is ultimately up to you!
While I try to find outfits that flatter and fit those of us who are vertically challenged, I don’t like to give out hard rules to someone who is petite about what is acceptable to wear or not. Petite ladies still come in different shapes, sizes, and proportions. And we each have our individual preferences, likes, and dislikes too.
So, if you love bold jewelry, wear it! Over the years, my personal preference leans towards wearing smaller jewelry pieces – but again that is just my personal preference. If you feel the same, you actually can still wear this trend. Simply look for bead necklaces that are smaller in scale.

In recent months, I’ve been tracing my family tree. I’ve discovered family members who journeyed to America in search of a better life, patriots who fought for America’s independence, founders of cities and communities, and more. And while I’m proud and impressed by my ancestors’ accomplishments. There are other family members we all share that are a great inspiration to us and have given us a remarkable spiritual inheritance. They are our brothers and sisters in Christ. We can read about their stories of faith, hope, obedience, and trust in God in the Bible, and be encouraged by their witness.
Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us.
