Today, I’m talking summer handbags. Many of you who have been reading my blog for a while probably know I’m not really a handbag girl. I’m really way more into shoes! Yet, I must admit that I’ve been paying waay more attention to my handbag game since becoming a fashion blogger!
While I keep a couple of clutches or special occasion bags on hand, I usually have just one handbag I carry for everyday. I do like to change out that everyday bag at least twice a year though – when the weather cools down and when it warms back up. Plus, it always feels so good to swap out my dark winter handbag for a light colored summer one.
So for this post, I thought it would be fun to round up some cute handbags for summer and share the summer one I’ve been carrying for several years.

I just love a pretty woven or straw handbag for summer. Isn’t this straw bucket bag from Chico’s adorable! While many of these are on the casual side, I have many more choices under Shop the Post below, including more formal bags if you need one for work and a few designer bag choices.
Here is the summer bag I’ve been carrying for the last few years. I’m so glad to see Macy’s has it in stock. It comes in a lot of colors including white.
As you can see, the cashmere color is a great neutral. I’ve even worn it into the fall and winter. It’s a good bag for the price. It is small. I just carry a small wallet, phone, pen, and lipstick in mine.
Mine is starting to get worn, but that is partly my fault. I’ve overstuffed it a couple of times carrying stuff for other people! Lol I would purchase it again.
