A satin skirt is such an elegant wardrobe staple. And skirts in general are gaining popularity! I used to think skirts were hard to style. However, I don’t think that now, especially with sweaters. If you choose the right color for your closet, your skirt can be a versatile best friend.

I purchased this beautiful A line satin skirt a few months ago from Ann Taylor with the holidays in mind. The quality is excellent, and the petite length is perfect. This skirt is lined with a comfortable elasticized waist. Unfortunately, the dark red sold out quickly. However, there are some other great colors in this satin skirt to choose from such as black, feather, and a gorgeous navy.
There are a few other color choices here, but petite sizes are extremely limited. I did find a few satin skirt options in red at Amazon like this Pretty Garden midi satin skirt and this BTFBM skirt. While these might run a bit longer if you are petite, I’ve had good luck ordering from Amazon as far as fit goes.
I paired my skirt with another elbow sleeve sweater from Ann Taylor. It’s a great sweater that I will wear often. I ordered a regular size so it wouldn’t be too tight across my chest, and it fits beautifully.
This skirt would be a great option to wear for the holidays in the other colors still available. Just pair it with a pretty sweater and you are good to go! I’ll link the other colors below with a coordinating sweater.
