I’ve found a pair of petite wide leg jeans that actually elongate your legs! Have you ever tried on a pair of jeans that make you feel instantly taller? As someone who is petite, I love when I find jeans that do just that. However, it’s rare when a wide leg style does that for me. In fact, it can do the opposite, but not so with these jeans!

I agree with another reviewer on Nordstrom’s website who thought the strategic seam placed down each leg has a lengthening effect. These dreamy jeans are so flattering and comfortable too. The light wash is perfect for spring and summer. The inseam is 28 inches in the petite size. While a bit longer for me, I think I can wear them with flats too. They also come in regular sizing if you aren’t petite.

I also want to mention this cute top from Loft. I went up to a size large in a regular, and it fits with plenty of room. Some buyers thought it ran a little small. In this size, I don’t find it to be too tight or small. In fact, I think it’s very flattering as the ruffled bands help conceal and flatter your tummy. I’m wondering if I could have worn a regular medium.
This ruffled top comes in pink, white, and black.

Dressed in Faith
Praying and speaking to God from the heart is one of the most powerful ways we can connect with Him. As a wife and mother, I’m always praying for my family and others but often to the exclusion of praying for myself. And it can sometimes feel a little selfish and intimidating when praying for my own personal needs and dreams. I think it’s because women are often natural caregivers sometimes forgetting to take care of themselves. Yet, God cares deeply about all of us. He wants to hear and answer our own personal prayers too. So, don’t be afraid to open up your heart to Him for He is waiting and willing to answer.
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.
Matthew 7:7-8
