Paisley Halter Maxi Dress

I recently stumbled upon this paisley halter maxi dress from Maurices and am just in love with it! It’s everything you could ask for in a summer dress – super affordable, comfy, pretty bright colors, and vacation worthy.

It seems many others feel the same way about this dress, because yesterday it looked like it was about out of stock. However, I checked again this morning, and it has been restocked. Yay! I am so happy to see that because it’s a really great dress! I would not wait to grab this dress if you are looking for something like it!

This pretty halter maxi dress has a gorgeous neckline that I felt very comfortable wearing. The straps don’t tie around the neck. Instead, they come down the back normally to attach to the back of the dress. I should have snapped a picture of the back, but you can see one on Maurices website.

While I didn’t jump up and down in the dress, the halter top stayed in place nicely without me needing to pull it up.

While I’m petite and this dress only comes in regular and plus sizing, I can wear the regular size with no issues. It’s the perfect length for my 5’2″ frame while wearing a shoe that has a sight heel.

I’m afraid other than the dress that most everything else I’m wearing is older and no longer available. My Charleston Shoe Company sandals have been in my closet for years. I really like them with this dress as they pick up some of the lighter yellow tones in the pattern.

Any neutral shoe would work well with a colorful dress like this though. These slides in natural raffia would go well.

My favorite go with everything bracelet is sadly out of stock, but this bracelet and this one are really similar.

You can still find the gold filigree hoop earrings I’m wearing. I love these earrings! They come in rose gold and silver too. They are bigger and make a statement without being too big for me. And while they may look heavy, these earrings are not heavy whatsoever. They are very light-weight and comfortable to wear.

I must admit that last year I almost decided to give up wearing anything that required a strapless bra. I had a very old strapless bra in my drawer that I threw out. It was okay for those few occasions I needed one but not the most comfortable. So, I really hated the thought of wearing a strapless bra in general.

Yet, my decision to give up wearing anything that wouldn’t work with a regular bra quickly came to an end. I just keep seeing so many beautiful summer dresses like the one I’m wearing today. And one shoulder dresses are also trending, but I think they are a classic look for summer. So, I searched for a new strapless bra and found a wonderful one!

I love the regular Enbliss wireless bras and wear them most everyday. So, I decided to try the Enbliss wireless strapless bra. So glad I did! It’s a wonderful fit for me and stays in place. After wearing it for several hours, I realized I didn’t even notice I was wearing a bra. I didn’t once pull it up or feel like I needed to adjust it. It is also very supportive too.

So if you are looking for a good strapless bra, I would recommend giving it a try. And now that I’ve found a comfortable strapless bra, I can’t wait to try some more pretty summer dresses such as this one.
