Olay Regenerist Cream

Last year, it was widely publicized that Olay Regenerist Cream was the best anti-aging cream on the market.  It beat out many high-priced brands in a test by Good Housekeeping Magazine.  Since then, I’ve seen countless bloggers do sponsored posts for this product.  So, I decided to try out the cream for myself.  By the way, this is not a sponsored post.  Like anyone, I’m always looking for good skin care products to use and pass on to you.

Olay Regenerist Cream | CeraVe Eye Repair Cream

I must say I do like the Olay Regenerist Cream.  I bought a sample sized jar to test it out.  Even though the Olay Regenerist Cream is less expensive than many others, I didn’t want to pay full price for a huge jar if I didn’t like it.  I recommend trying the Sample Sized Jar to see if you like it.

I worried that this cream might not work for my skin since it is so sensitive.  I’m glad to say I didn’t have any problems with it.  The biggest thing I liked about it is that it moisturizes your face very well.  A little goes a long way, and I’ve gotten a lot of mileage out of my little sample jar.  I’ve tried to use it consistently everyday for several weeks.  Besides being very moisturizing, I did notice a little lift or glow to my skin after I first started using it.  As far as wrinkles are concerned, I’m not sure I would say anything completely gets rid of them!  I just think keeping your skin really moisturized and protected from the sun are some of the best things we can do!

I also did not stop using the moisturizer I normally use on my skin.  You can read about it Here.  In fact, I sometimes layered it with the Olay.  Other times, I used one in the morning and the other in the evening.

I plan to buy a bigger jar and keep using it.  I may check out the Olay Regenerist Whip.  I also like that the Olay Regenerist Cream comes in a Fragrance Free Formula too.  I really think this is a good drug store product, and like that it doesn’t cost hundreds of dollars!  I may try to use it twice a day along with my other moisturizer.

I also wanted to share with you all an eye cream I’ve used.  While I love most CeraVe products for my skin, I’m not totally happy with the CeraVe Eye Repair Cream I’ve been using.  It is supposed to help with dark circles and puffy eyes.  I believe my dark circles may actually be a little better since using this cream, but my puffiness is not.  To be fair, I do not get a lot of consistent sleep due to my breast cancer prevention medication.  Also, I suffer from allergies, and that can make my eyes very puffy.  It does do a good job of moisturizing around the eye area.  It is also very gentle too.  So if you don’t have a lot of problems with puffy eyes and just need a good moisturizer for around your eye area, it is a good product that is not very expensive.

Are there any eye creams you all like for puffiness around the eyes?  I’m looking at some of the Olay eye products for puffiness too.  If I find something, I will report back to you.
