Today, I’m calling this post my November Try-On Session with Nordstrom and Loft. I’m going to try to do these try-on sessions more often as many of you like them! I’ve got some great items to share today, though a few are selling out. Boo! But, one of my favorites from this session is fully stocked in tons of colors. Yay!
It’s that time of year where all the good stuff is going quickly. So, not only is it challenging for you but also for us bloggers to share our favorites before they are sold out!
First, we’ll start with items I got in recently from Nordstrom.
Treasure & Bond V-Neck Sweater with Wit & Wisdom High Waist Itty Bitty Bootcut Jeans
One of my favorite items of this try-on session is this wonderful V-Neck sweater! It’s so soft and warm! It fits a bit oversized as it’s more of a tunic with a curved hem. This sweater hangs down longer in the back. I ordered my usual size medium but think I may be able to size down to a small.
I really like it front tucked above. Below, you can see how it fits untucked. Right now, Nordstrom has marked this sweater way down in price, and it’s fully stocked in lots of great colors.
This is my first time trying the Wit & Wisdom bootcut jeans, and I really love this pair! The only thing I’m debating on these jeans is I feel like they are a tad long on me. I did order my usual size in a petite (I’m 5’2″), and they still feel long. Of course, bootcut jeans are supposed to run longer, and I just may not be used to that!
I could cut a little off the bottoms and make them a raw edge. I don’t know?! I really want to add a pair of bootcut/flare jeans to my wardrobe, and the fit on these is great everywhere else. I also think for someone of my height, the flare probably looks better if it’s not too exaggerated like on this pair. What do you think?
Vince Camuto V-Neck Sweater with Wit & Wisdom Itty Bitty Bootcut Jeans in Indigo
Unfortunately, this Vince Camuto sweater only has a few sizes left as of writing this post. This sweater is also very soft and cozy, but it runs very large! I’m wearing a size small in this one, and it’s still big on me.
While this is a really nice sweater in the right size, I guess the fact that this one is about sold out is no huge loss. For the value and fit, I really like the Treasure & Bond sweater above the best.
This pair of Wit & Wisdom jeans in the indigo color is not as high waisted. Though it’s hard to tell in these pictures, the petite length is also a tad shorter which I really like, However, I thought my normal size was a little tight in the waist. Maybe they will stretch out some with wear, but I think these will go back to the store. It’s a shame the fit is off for me because I like the darker wash which is a little dressier.

Lou & Grey Cinched Top
I’m so sorry I couldn’t get this cinched top posted sooner! There are a few sizes left as of writing this post. It’s a great soft top with the cute ribbon tie detail.
Lou & Grey Jersey Shirttail Top
This great top has been a best seller on the blog. I have it in the grey color and recently ordered it in the soft pink. It’s a great closet staple! Sizes are limited in certain colors on this one now too. So if you find your size in a color you want, I would not wait to grab it.

I really like your try on posts. I’m just an inch taller than you so I appreciate seeing how pants/ jeans fit on you. Thank you for helping us petite ladies see wonderful options, although most of the clothes you share can also be for all heights, shapes. Most other bloggers are only concerned about what is perfect for their bodies and won’t give options for the rest of us. You are appreciated.

Thank you so much Pam! I’m so glad my posts are helpful which is my goal here! I well know finding pants and jeans that fit a petite lady right is challenging, so I do focus on that here. I also know I have many readers who aren’t petite and luckily most petite clothing also comes in regular sizes. It’s just that most regularly sized clothing does not come in petite!
