I’ve had this Liz Claiborne coat for 10 or more years, and I must say it is one of the best coats I’ve ever had! Plus, it is super cute and wasn’t very expensive!!

If you read my post yesterday on Winter Closet Staples, you know I do not buy a winter coat that often. I bought this Liz Claiborne coat shortly after moving to Indiana. Our first winter here was very cold and snowy! I needed a warmer, yet inexpensive, coat fast!
This faux suede coat has taken a beating in the winter elements. I wear it in rain or snow. I will wash it occassionally in my washing machine on gentle too, and it still looks brand new!
This coat is also super warm – it has a cozy fur lining. I can’t say enough good things about this coat. I wish it was still made! I did find some Liz Claiborne Coats at JCPenny that are currently on sale, and most get great reviews. This Faux Fur Coat and this Faux Fur Coat are current styles with good reviews and prices. Plus, both are very cute!
This coat is a very casual style which suits 99% of my lifestyle, but I did purchase another Coat recently. The new one can be dress up or down, and I can’t wait to style it for you!
I have a very similar coat I bought years ago from Coldwater Creek and I still love it, but it doesn’t get much use since our move to NC. I use Instagram the most and will make sure I am following you.
I never wore a heavy coat much when I lived in the South either. I get a lot of wear out of this one here in Indiana though.
