Front tie blouses seem to be as popular right now as front twist tops. I found the cutest one recently for fall from Dillard’s. It’s a button down style, and I usually don’t wear those. They always seem to stretch tighter across my chest – and I don’t want to be worrying about my shirt gaping open or unbuttoning! This new little top has plenty of room though. So, I feel comfortable wearing it.
One of my favorite items I recently purchased for fall/winter are these taupe waterproof suede boots. I had originally bought them in black but decided to exchange them for this lighter color. It really shows off the braid detailing on the sides.
I wish I could link my minty green top for y’all – I could not find it online anywhere. It was marked way down from the original price, so it may have been a closeout item. Yet, I think it will work great for fall.
After I started looking online, I found so many pretty front tie tops in all kinds of different styles. This top is similar to mine. I also had to include a leopard button down top! I love the colors in this floral top from Loft too.

In other news, I have been learning my way around the photo editing software Lightroom. I had another editor but now realize just how much it was lacking in comparison! Of course, I’ve been tweaking my editing style along with learning the software. It’s seems to be always a work in progress since I’m constantly trying to improve my photography, whether here on the blog or with family photos. Let me know what you think?!

What a nice outfit! I love the booties. How do they fit? I usually need shoes that have ties, buckles, or velcro to hold them in place. These look like the zipper would do the same job. Would you recommend the taupe for fall and winter? I would only buy one pair, and would like them to work for fall. winter and early spring, Thanks so much for your posts!
I am really happy with the fit. I have not worn them all day, though, since it’s really hot here. I did size up half a size. I have a narrow heel, but my foot is wider toward my toes. It seems I have been sizing up in all shoes lately too. Don’t know what’s up with that? I also would definitely recommend taupe for fall. You can wear it with everything, and I plan to wear these through spring. I hope this helps!
