Florals aren’t just for spring! In fact, fall is a great time to wear them. If you want to avoid looking like you are dressing for spring, look for floral patterns that are either muted or in darker colors. Floral patterns on darker backgrounds also look more like fall. Steer clear of very bright pastels too, and this will give your outfit more of a fall vibe.
This pretty floral dress is great example of how to wear florals in the fall. Plus, it’s so easy and comfortable to wear with a stretchy wide band at the waist. The sheer flutter sleeves add to the overall flow of this feminine and romantic dress. It’s a great dress to wear to a wedding, any fall party, or to church.

You can see this dress does wear like a maxi dress if you are petite. If you are taller, it will be more midi length. I think it runs pretty true to size otherwise.

On a quest to find some comfortable black pumps, I tried these Clarks pumps and mysoft pumps. Both fit very comfortably. The Clarks are a classic leather pump, and the black mysoft pumps are a velvety fabric making them a little dressier. If you have a narrow foot, the Clarks pumps would be ideal. The mysoft pumps give a bit more room for your toes. I kept both pairs as I can wear each one with different outfits for different occasions.

Dressed in Faith
Don’t let the thief of comparison steal your confidence and joy in the gifts that God has given you. Each gift used for God’s glory is important and a blessing to others. None are too small, and God empowers each one the same for His kingdom.
There are different kinds of gifts, but the same Spirit distributes them. There are different kinds of service, but the same Lord. There are different kinds of working, but in all of them and in everyone it is the same God at work. 1 Corinthians 12:4-6
