Baby Blue And White

Hello ladies!  Finally, we are having some beautiful weather here where I live.  I am enjoying every bit of it.  I am styling a pretty patterned blue and white top today.  For a while, I saw blush colored tops everywhere.  Now, I see blue everywhere I shop.  I wonder what happened to green which was supposed to be the hot color this year.  LOL

Seeking To Know God

Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.  Psalms 46:10

Writing several devotionals each week doesn’t always come easily.  Sometimes, I hear God’s voice saying to me loud and clear write this down.  Other times, I experience silence and am not sure what I should be saying.  Isn’t this the way it is for all of us who are God’s children.  We want so much to hear him clearly tell us what we are to do.  We are so privileged and blessed through Christ to be in an amazing relationship with an unfathomable God.  Yet, relationships can’t be one-sided.  I know I focus too much on what I get out of it or have an all about me mentality.

Maybe we should not be just taking from him each week but giving to him.  Our time with him should not be complaining about our lives but confessing our sin.  I should be praising him instead of always asking him to give to me.  We should not be seeking just to hear his voice but seeking to know who he really is.  He needs to hear we love him just as we need to hear he loves us.

Let’s take some time this week to learn more about who our God is.  Maybe, we don’t hear as much sometimes, because we don’t seek to know him enough.  We need to quiet ourselves and sit in God’s presence exalting him above all.
