It seems I am constantly searching for a great eyebrow makeup. I will use one for a while, but when it’s time to replace it, I want something new. One day by accident, I read this temporary root touchup powder also works as a brow makeup. So, I thought I would give it a try.
I originally purchased this Clairol Root Touchup powder for my hair in the medium brown but wondered if the darker brown would be a better choice for my roots. I get to the salon pretty often and don’t use a lot of this product. So there was a ton left in this little container. I hated to just throw it out.
Then, I realized it could be used on eyebrows too. I’m so glad I kept it, because it is a great brow product.
It looks very natural on my brows against my hair color and has great staying power.
I also love the brush that comes with it for my brow shape.
I’ve had thick to medium brows (depending on how much I would tweeze them – lol) over the years, and now they are naturally thinning (thanks to getting older). My brows are still pretty defined but just very sparse in some spots. For me, using a thin pencil or thin brush takes too much time. The thicker brush in this kit makes filling in my brows pretty quick and easy.
If you have thicker eyebrows that are growing thin or need a little color, the Clairol Root Touchup powder is a great option. Plus, it will last forever before it’s time to replace it.
I love this product. I normally buy from eBay at a great price so I have lots of it. I use it in my part where the hair is thinning. I’m going to try it on my brows this morning. Thanks for the tip.
Yay! I’m so glad to share it! I had no idea when I tried this it could be used on brows too. It’s been a real game changer for mine! I love a product that can be used for more than just one thing!
