Today, I am dressing in an outfit to beat the August heat. Honestly, our weather has been pretty pleasant lately! Growing up in the South, I know that this time of year can be brutal in some parts of the country though. Plus, it is still summer, and I will be dressing like it is for a while!
I have this summer look plus another one for tomorrow. I am planning to brings these tops back for transition into fall posts next week, so stay tuned.
I love these Tees and wore mine in a previous summer Post. This deep rich purple color will also look great in the fall with jeans. While I don’t see my color in stock, I did spot some animal print patterns and a deep red color.
I found this great neutral stripe clutch at a local store. I wish I could link it for y’all. It’s the perfect go with anything bag! It’s also the perfect size for me and all the essentials I want to carry. I think I can carry this into fall. What do y’all think?

With most of this outfit, I’m reworking pieces in my summer closet. I’m sure that’s what we are all doing right now.
The only exceptions are my clutch and this Necklace which I want to especially mention. I have been wearing this necklace just about everyday! I love it and think it’s pretty for fashion jewelry! I wish I had taken a close up picture of it. It’s very small and dainty. It can also be layered with other pieces. Plus, it does not get caught or twisted in my hair like some do. That’s a huge win for me!
