Don’t be afraid to wear pastels in the winter. This is my go-to trick for lifting my mood during endless grey days. While I love dark colors and neutrals, wearing something light and bright like this pink cable knit sweater goes a long way towards cheering me up this time of year. Y’all know I do not like the cold!
This sweater is warm and a nice weight for when it’s cold outside. I love the V-neck – they’ve been harder to find in recent seasons! I did go up a size in this sweater but not sure it was necessary. For some reason, I thought it might run smaller. The sleeves do run very long as many sweaters do on me. So, I cuffed them which doesn’t bother me. I actually like the overall look of it, and they do stay in place.
I’m also one who doesn’t like the typical polo neckline with a collar, especially now that I wear my hair shoulder length. However, the collar on this sweater lays very flat, and I hardly notice it. This pink cable sweater is another great Amazon find!
I also featured these jeans in my last post. They have 27 1/2 inseam which is slightly long on me. However, they work great with my boots that have a heel. While they are called flare jeans, the flare leg is not overly exaggerated. Overall, they have a loose fit throughout the leg which is so popular now. I like that they are not overly wide-legged, and therefore, not overwhelming on me.

Hi Diana, thanks for the reply. I like pink, but I brought a pink sweatshirt at Cracker Barrel sale rack. After I got it home & tried it on pink didn’t look so good on me. Probably the grey hair. I returned it. I do like the style of the one you are wearing. I finally got out on Wednesday & went to Meijer. Will be so glad when spring comes. Thankful we didn’t get the ice storm like Tennessee. I have understand about the pink – we all have colors that look better on us than others. This one does come in other color choices too. Most things I style do. You can click on the link to see them. I’ll be glad when spring comes too and am very thankful for a warm house!
