3 Great Swimsuit Coverups

Today, I’m updating this swimsuit coverup post. With the exception of a few things, most of my favorite pieces in this post are still available. And for those that aren’t, I have some very similar good options linked!

I have the hardest time finding a good swimsuit coverup. However, the good news is today I’ve finally found 3 great swimsuit coverups from Amazon that I love and think you will too!

I am very picky when it comes to picking out a coverup to wear over my swimsuit.

First, I want it to look nice but be budget-friendly. I really don’t want to invest heavily in something I don’t wear very often. Plus, my coverup sometimes takes a lot of abuse for no more than it’s worn. Most of the time it just gets me to and from the beach, pool, boat, or lake. Then, it gets thrown in a beach bag that seems to collect all kinds of things.

Second, (and this probably goes without saying it) I want it to be made of a cool and comfortable fabric for hot weather.

Third, it has to cover like a casual dress and not be see thru either. This requirement applies especially if going on vacation to the beach. In the past, we’ve spent part of the day going to the beach or pool, then headed to lunch, did a little shopping, or even taken a tour. I want to feel comfortable and appropriate going into other places without always taking the time to go back to the room to change.

Each of these swimsuit coverups I’m sharing today meets these requirements!

The minute I saw this adorable mini beach dress, I knew I had to try it. So many of the reviewers on Amazon said they bought it to wear as a stand-alone dress, and it certainly would work for that! In fact, you could wear it out to dinner early into your vacation and use it as your swimsuit coverup the rest of the time. It comes in lots of pretty colors.

I also love the drawstring on it. It’s easy to adjust for a little more structure. However, know that it has more of a drop waist and the draw string feature hits a little lower.

In all these looks, I’m wearing Clarks Cloudsteppers Sandals. They make a really great beach pool or beach sandal. They are super comfortable if you end up doing a lot of walking.

And this beach hat is so divine! It’s been one of my best finds this year – so affordable yet feels and looks like it should be much more expensive!

This cute floral beach dress is great for when the temperature is soaring. The fabric feels so cool, light-weight, and comfortable. The exact one I’m wearing here doesn’t seem to be available anymore on Amazon’s website. However, this coverup is very similar, and one I had added to my wish list last year before deciding to order the one I’m wearing above.

Don’t let the weight of this last gorgeous beach dress fool you! I though it might be too hot at first but actually found it to be light and flowy. It’s great for wearing into cold shops and restaurants where you might want some sleeves too.

Many reviewers also said this makes a great stand-alone dress too, and I agree! You could add a belt to it if you want for more structure and some nice sandals. This is another great option to take on vacation to wear to dinner one night and the beach as your swimsuit coverup the next day.

This dress comes in lots of color options, and you could even wear the darker colors as a traditional dress into early fall.
