My name is Dianna Miller, and I am so glad you stopped by to read my blog today! I am a follower of Christ, married to the love of my life, and mom to two boys, one in college and one in high school. I am a girlie girl who loves fashion and shopping living in a household surrounded by outdoorsy, adventurous men! I am a Southern girl through and through! I grew up and spent most of my adulthood in the South. I now live in Indiana.
When I was young, my first serious ambition was to be a writer when I grew up. As life would have it, I decided to enter a different field of study when I went to college. I eventually became a stay at home mom and never looked back. Several years ago as my children got older and didn’t need mom as much, I felt God calling me to finally fulfill my ambition of writing.
Then during my oldest son’s senior year of high school, I found out I had unilateral breast cancer. Fortunately, my cancer was caught very early. With the love and support of God, family, friends, and doctors, I am grateful to be a breast cancer survivor!
While spending the good part of a year healing from multiple surgeries, I passed the time browsing the web where I discovered the world of fashion blogging. It was pointless to go shopping while undergoing breast reconstruction as my body kept changing. Following fashion blogs was a fun way to window shop, and it gave me something to look forward to once reconstruction was completed.
All the while, I still felt God calling me to write about my faith and experiences. I discovered there were many women in the world of fashion blogging who openly expressed their faith! This led to the creation of Dressed In Faith! I style everyday, affordable, fun fashion, encourage positive self body image, and write about what God is teaching me through his Word. I pray as you read my blog you will find hope and faith in Christ’s love for you! Please take some time to scroll down through the devotionals I offer at the end of each post. I hope my story will inspire and encourage you to see yourself as loved and valued with a purpose in all of life’s seasons.
A Few More Details
Unless otherwise noted, my Bible verses come from the New International Version.
I do some basic photo editing to get the best possible pictures. However, I do not correct any perceived skin or body flaws. I want to encourage positive self body image and loving ourselves just as God created us!
I will publish new posts about three times a week. You can check back periodically for updates, or you can Subscribe to be notified by email of all my latest posts.
